Stevie Coleman is a beauty, travel, and career coaching enthusiast who works to enhance corporate employee experiences as an HR Business Partner in New York City. A St. Louis, MO native, Stevie is a two-time graduate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Stevie’s bachelor’s degree is in Business Management with a concentration in International Business from Gies College of Business. Her masters degree is in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the School of Labor and Employment Relations.
Upon her master’s graduation, Stevie began working full time as a part of an HR Leadership Development Program. For five years she worked for a multinational conglomerate company that makes a variety of commercial and consumer products, engineering services and aerospace systems for a wide variety of customers. The program moved her to Minneapolis, MN, Houston, TX and Chicago, IL, holding various HR positions of increasing responsibility. Stevie also simultaneously worked as the hiring manager for HerAgenda.com building their internship program from the ground up. At the end of 2017, Stevie decided to move to New York, NY to continue her HR career within the digital media space.
When Stevie isn’t coaching leaders at work, she’s probably doing her hair (natural or extensions) and searching for the next best flight deal. Having traveled to 29 countries she’s always looking for her next best luxurious trip at a discount. When she isn’t on vacation, you’ll usually find Stevie listening to mindfulness and entrepreneurship podcasts while searching for the best restaurants in NYC. Stevie enjoys watching beauty reviews from the stairmaster as she tries to burn off whatever gourmet keto creation she’s whipped up. When she’s not fixing her makeup or in a spin class, Stevie enjoys volunteering with her sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha.
